About Us - Ready to Work Perth Western Australia - helping disadvantaged, disabled and long-term unemployed women find employment.

Ready To Work Inc. Ready To Work Inc. - Empowering Women

ABOUT US

Ready to Work was established to help disadvantaged, disabled and long-term unemployed women enter the workforce. Ready to Work’s services aim to increase self confidence in job interviews through looking and feeling professional, and improve understanding of how to perform in an interview to get that job!

Founders Kellie Benda and Rachael Hain saw the success of charities such as Bottomless Closet in the US, Dress for Success in the UK and Fitted For Work in Victoria providing services to disadvantaged women in those locations and recognised that those services were not being provided in Western Australia.

Recent feedback from Job Network Agency consultants regarding Ready to Work clients.

  • I am just so impressed with what you do. Thank you so much for making Heidi’s life a little easier. You girls should all have wings. I am sure that it will help her to move into employment that much quicker.  Ruah Workright, July 2010
  • Annette was not successful in the position that she was going for on that occasion due to the hours not being suitable for her child care responsibilities, but Annette is now employed in another position and is VERY happy!   Thanks for your help.  I think you really helped Annette to recognise her strengths.  PVS Workfind
  • Firstly thank you for spending the time with Brenda today.  I spoke with her when we got back and she felt it was a really beneficial meeting and the clothes that she got were fantastic.   As Brenda rightfully pointed out whilst she still has to work on her confidence levels on attending interviews the fact that she will be confident with her appearance really lightens the load. Worklink Occupational Health & Rehabilitation Service.
  • I just wanted to let you know that Julie thoroughly enjoyed the session last Friday.  It increased her self esteem hugely! I think the information you gave her about presentation and interview preparation was fantastic!  Thank you again. Ruah Intensive October 2010
  • Many thanks for your support with Debbie.  I am pleased to say that Debbie was offered a job at the completion of her interview. I spoke to her today and she is very excited and one can just hear the buzz in her voice.  She sang the praises of Ready to Work and made a special mention of the make-up that was issued to her. Keep up the great work!  I know your support "makes a difference".  atWork Australia
  •  Jennifer is working full time now - she started with temporary work and got rave reviews from the employer.  She managed to secure full time ongoing work and is working well now.  Jennifer certainly appreciated all the assistance she received from Ready to Work and is wearing the clothing often. atWork Australia
